Japan Quilt
Ohjeohje, da hab ich Euch ja ohne Vorwarnung mal eben für fast 3 Monate ohne Post hier sitzen lassen.... Ehrlich gesagt war das gar nicht meine Absicht, manchmal kommt einem halt das Leben dazwischen ;o)
Derzeit findet bei Amy wieder das Bloggers Quilt Festival statt. Da möchte ich die Gelegenheit nutzen und meinen Quilt vorzeigen, den ich als Spendenquilt für Japan genäht habe. Jetzt bin ich auf der Suche nach einer SpendenQuiltSammelstelle. Gibt's noch welche, wißt ihr das vielleicht? Dann braucht mein Quilt nicht ganz alleine reisen ;o)

The top is pieced with Michael Miller's Retro Mod fabric line.
I think the colors are just perfect for a baby boy - and I love that the fabric isn’t too cutesy.

For the back I used a fleece blanket perfect for a warm, cozy & snuggely BabyBoy quilt;o)

Ich sitze hier bei zu lange offenem Fenster und könnte den jetzt zum Einkuscheln gebrauchen ;o)
Sammelstellen kenne ich leider auch nicht, aber wie ich Dich kenne findest Du ganz schnell eine!

Beautiful quilt. I really like your color choices.
I love that we have so many languages in the quilting world and that I get to comment on a German blog! (Fun for me.) Your quilt is very cute and I think the warm blanket will make someone in Japan very happy. I just put some flannel on my Spring Quilt and I am so glad I did, given that we are having such cool weather right now (not usual for Southern California). Terrific quilt!
